Brilliant or Completely Insane?

It's been a month since I last posted, so something MUST be up to make me feel the need to blog about it. Behold, my discovery of HEEL CONDOMS. Yes, you read that right. Heel. Condoms. What exactly is this you ask? Condom-like covers that let you play dress up with your shoes. But get this, they also protect your heels from the dirt, mud, gum, and gravel that is New York City streets. My initial reaction was nothing short of absolute horror, but the more I think about it, the more that I think this concept could actually be quite brilliant.

Behold exhibit A: these black pumps actually look like a different pair of shoes. I could save money on a new pair of shoes and protect the ones I already have. Absurd? Yes. Brilliant? Yes. Will I try this out? Let's just wait and see.

For My Inner Nerd

I have a confession to make: I don't love pancakes. At least not all the time. I can eat them every so often, but I definitely do not consider them daily, or even weekly, breakfast essentials. I may, however, need to rethink my lack of obsession for pancakes just so I can use these:

Star Wars Pancake Molds!! I would totally eat pancakes if they came in the shape of Darth Vader, a Storm Trooper, or Yoda every time. Perhaps this says more about my Star Wars obsession than my affinity, or lack thereof, with pancakes. Oh well.

Off to LA Land!

After spending countless hours doing laundry yesterday (quite surprising just how much stuff I packed and wore in France), I am now ready to pack again for my little vacation to LA Land. Going to be a fun and food-filled trip with my best friends, family, and special someone; can't wait! I must pack and get myself to the nail salon stat.
